Pre-fall clear out is good for the soul
Almada trouser/top set - four looks; in the Hype List, Maison Magdalena scarf fashion crowd is buying out, Le cotton by Clé de Peau Beauté, Calvin Klein collection launching soon and more
With summer unwinding the amount of new outfits I’m able to come up with is diminishing, so I keep re-wearing my new found love—Almada crepe set, mixing and matching endlessly with leftovers in my wardrobe. I’ve had a massive, left no crumbs, clear-out this year, so if you see me shopping excessively, that’s why. The feeling of unburdening yourself from the years of baggage you don’t wear anymore is priceless and comes highly recommended! I kept some archival pieces, but everything that hadn’t been touched for a year, had to go.
Having missed my summer holidays this year, I’m listening to Quincy Jones “Summer In The City” and doing all the summer things city can offer: consuming gelato, shopping, wining and dining, and going to the office to cooldown in the air-conditioned space. With my mind being freed from vacation planning, I have a lot of time on my hands, so I collected four looks from the camera roll, involving the same set. And concluded—having less, sometimes is truly more.
Look 1. Almada crepe trouser and top set; Massimo Dutti strappy top; The Row flats; Freja bag; Ani bracelet.
Look 2. Almada crepe trouser and top set; The Frankie shop coat, The Row Cecily bag; Carmen flip flops.
Look 3. Almada crepe trousers; Yaneth silk blouse; The Row Cecily bag; Celine heeled sandals (bought them few seasons back, but would have loved these Jil Sander ones too).
Look 4. Almada crepe trousers; My essential wardrobe knit; Leset t-shirt; The Row Cecily bag; The Row flats; Manà shell necklace.
HYPE LIST
Thanks to the fashion crowd beloved Brisa scarf, I’ve recently discovered a small independent label Maison Magdalena. And followed through with no second thoughts purchase of the scarf alongside silk scrunchie with my initials. Now Oris skirt is on my mind 24/7, since its recent launch too.
Le cotton by Clé de Peau Beauté—one of those beauty products you never knew you needed. Their eye cream is heavenly, but these light and soft as a cotton pads, totally transformed my make up removal experience and this box looks so chic in the bathroom—I’m hooked.
Toteme finally opened their fall lines to the public, you might have seen me obsessing over this winter coat; these trousers look great; and then the knit with built in sleeves is giving us something lighter than a full skirt over the trousers layering (I touched on the topic lightly here).
Calvin Klein Collection is coming in September (signed up for it here). I’m targeting these two looks.

Kallmeyer launched fall winter and I quickly laid my eyes on the satin trousers, but this gown really wakes up 90s minimalist in me.
Something special landed in my inbox, my dear friend Austeja launched activewear/lifestyle brand The Aloa Label recently and I finally managed to get my hands on this halter neck top (just before it sold out). My pilates class and post pilates brunch never looked better!
