Month of intentional home dressing - December
incl. 3 looks to lounge in (no sweatpants allowed!), Savette satin bags, perfect pair from Toteme and more.
When it starts getting dark at 4pm and Christmas is only 3 weekends away, my rsvps get more selective, homebody personality re-emerges and for the first time in a year I actually want to slow down. Enjoy slow cooking with favorite tv series in a background and a glass of Pinot Noir, burn candles and cozy up for an early night more often than I’d like to admit. And here it is, this is an exact moment when the home looks become intentional. Lounging at home, when given a chance, turns into the ritual as important as a date night, and so does dressing a part.
Tennis necklace here and there, I re-use this one a lot.
Uniqlo turtleneck; Almada label trousers; The Row flats; Heaven Mayham Tennis nacklace.
Lots of high low dress ups. I.e. Manolo slippers, that I purchased back in Covid time, make at least few rounds every year (go one full size up, they do run small), I like them paired with good pair of jeans the most.
Manolo Blahnik sattin slippers; Phoebe Philo classic jeans; Dehanche belt; Leset boat neck top.
After the tree is up, all my pre-Christmas Saturday evenings are already reserved for good old movies: The Holiday, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, Love Actually, you get the gist. When I have a lot of lounging on the sofa to do and need a freedom of movement, but want to stay chic, I always reach for Leset wear-anywhere pant. I’ve paired it with Leset bracelet top and statement bracelet.
Leset top; Leset pant; Lie Studio bracelet.
And may I say, all these looks would reach an epitome of home chic with a pair of Charvet slippers. I don’t have them yet, they are on my Christmas list in size S. Luckily my Santa is subscribed to this newsletter, so let’s hope he’ll get to this part.
Enjoy December dressing up, speak soon,
Victoria xx
IN THE NOTES
It was hard to miss Chanel Chanel Métiers d’art 2026, Matthew Blazy finally made Chanel cool again and having the show setting in New York subway, rather relatable as well. For my day to day, I resonate with these looks the most and knowing myself, I will be out there hunting for these shoes.
To continue on shoes, I found a perfect pair to wear all December and beyond. Comes in black too, and I don’t care about the colour anymore, just need it in my size!
Neptune issue nine is out—mecca of best interiors and conversations. Offering three covers, I snagged the one with a snippet from Bill Sofield’s Maine Lighthouse.
Savette issued Satin Symmetry Pochettes (in Taupe and Black) to mark the beginning of a festive season. I also can’t take my eyes off this lizard Sera clutch (which is on final sale by the way).
The Row has partnered with Net-A-Porter to pre-launch their latest collection. Hardly surprising, but Batani coat in crushed velvet, an epitome of a perfect coat, is almost sold out.

Love the Leset boat neck top with the Phoebe Philo jeans – such a simple but chic look!
Oooooo the Leset boatneck white t is SO GOOD!!!!
