crème de la crème of the coats
also including make-up that is also a skincare, black Friday sales and new launches worth knowing
Don’t get me wrong, I love refined minimalism and everyday outfits that are styled to perfection, easy to wear and very practical, but just like Miuccia Prada with her SS25 collection, which is entirely different from the usual Prada dna, I found myself craving for something new and exciting in my wardrobe this fall. And what is more inspiring in fall than a very good coat. So I started this season with Nour Hammour Amina coat in snake print (which I’ve been wearing inappropriately often), followed by Liberowe Bombardo coat. And both of them proved to be very easy to style with refined basics.
The beauty about statement coats - they don’t require much of a dress up, because they’re making enough statement already. With a reverse formula in mind, minimal dress with statement coat, as opposed to statement dress with minimal classic coat, I found myself browsing for coats that cost as much as a good designer bag. But then how many bags can one person have? Never enough, I know, but now and then I ration my shoes and bags spend, and instead buy a coat I will want to keep forever.
There are few brands that stood out to me with their bigger than life statement coats this season and that’s Khaite, Nour Hammour, Liberowe and Carven.

Liberowe coat; Cos merino turtleneck; Liberowe trousers (also great pair from Cos); Alaia bag (would’ve loved The Row 90s with this look too); Khaite boots
Nour Hammour Coat, Cos Merino Turtleneck, Arket Jeans, Khaite boots, Bottega Jodi, Alaia sunglasses
Make-up that’s also a skincare
I’ve stopped wearing foundation on a daily basis about a year ago. Being in my late 30s I find that majority of foundations are ageing me more, so I invest in better skincare and use lighter layers nowadays. And that’s how I also discovered by Terry skincare line, which I’ve been talking about to everyone and everywhere, especially their serum concealers. I use lighter shade for my under-eyes and mid-face and darker shade as a bronzer, for my cheekbones and forehead. Also their cc serum does an amazing job by adding some colour and glow to my skin, I love nude glow shade.
Sales on my radar
Nour Hammour gave an early access to Black Friday sale to their subscribers, amazing selection of coats are all at 30% discount. I had a peak already and Edra leather scarf is on it, as well as my Amina coat, they’re also giving us some winter coats too, like this 90s Joni or draped Birthday coat.
Dehanche is running up to 30% off sale sitewide, on my radar are their gorgeous corset, which fashion girlies are wearing as a belt, also Hollyhock and Mija belts that can pretty much compliment any pair of trousers.

Luisaviaroma is running singles day and giving us 30% off with a code SD30. Helmut Lang silk scarf top and so is this silk shirt; Ayede black boots in time for fall/winter; perfect trousers from Carven; Jil Sander bag; The Frankie Shop Hedi leather skirt I’ve been wearing lately is also there.
New launches
Tekla / Auralee - their robe coat is something I want to wear on my every errand day, paired with brown poplin pants and white t-shirt for ultimate comfort.
August & Piers Christmas collection. I’ve been burning their Muse candle recently which not only looks good on my side cabinet, but smells divine. I want to gift this set to someone special this Christmas.
