CPHFW SS27 Notes Day 3 & 4 - collecting heirlooms
Almada label debut show; Sophie Bille Brahe heirloom jewellery; best totes from LIÉ Studio and more
Two jewellery-heavy days brought me to think about things that get better with age. Necklaces passed down the generations, handbags that only get prettier with wear. Slow and meaningful, selected with care — that’s what makes you fall in love with your wardrobe. It’s the reason why my looks, too, are built from the same pieces over and over again.

NÎMES x Common Clouds breakfast at Wild Horses cafe
Sophie Bille Brahe L’Histoire d’Amis collection presentation — Sophie is continuously exploring natural forms, with small additions to her permanent collection. This time she found inspiration in Venice (where she’s also regularly working on her vases collection in Murano), specifically thinking of the fluidity of Venetian lace, translating softness of movement into diamond pieces. Collection centrepiece, the Collier Dentelle, diamonds graduating in size to evoke the movement, with a one-carat stone at the centre. Pearls too, though they come to fluidity on the body. Like Trois Luce de Lily, a minimal necklace with three pear-shaped pearls set a small distance apart, designed to sit right between the collarbones, on a very thin gold chain. Something I would wear on a daily.
CAIA’s first Copenhagen store opening — our make-up darling, now available to browse in person in Copenhagen as well.
Almada label runway show at The Royal Academy of Danish Fine Arts — it was a debut for Almada, and they stayed true to their echoes of impeccable Scandinavian minimalism. But this time, longer scarves, more tailoring and statement coats, compared to their start as a minimalist knitwear brand a few years ago. Making strides! They showed AW26, which was made available to shop right after the show. Cleo long satin jacket, good as a dress too, of course sold out immediately.
LIÉ Studio showroom presentation — I picked up the hair comb straight away, silver, minimal and perfect. Also The Grace in croc coming soon. The beauty of this tote is that the more you wear it the better it gets (I have the classic one, can confirm).

Ragbag studio showroom presentation — they’re bringing in something blue for SS27.
Collina Strada runway show — she took the International Guest Slot at CPHFW, in collaboration with The Climate Pledge, Hillary Taymour was selected for her commitment to sustainable design. The show was beautiful, she put the collection together from leftover fabric in her studio. Unfortunately I had to watch it online on the way to the airport.
Around the city
Lunch at The Roe Bar comes with a side of Louise Roe gallery tour. I never skip a visit when in Copenhagen.
Dinner at Ambra
Tekla Fabrics store — impossible to walk away without a new pair of pjs, or a set of fresh linen in my case.
Reseller — I popped in for their vintage curation, but to my surprise found out they’re stocking Reyem. It was the first time I saw the brand up-close, and it was the hardest walk away from the Halter dress, which wasn’t available in my size. I ordered it online at home.

Stay
Henrik’s Hotel — I loved that you don’t need to commit to a full breakfast and can grab a piece of freshly baked pastry from the reception, so Danish. And to make it perfect, it had the cosiest work corner.
