Black Friday cheatsheet
to keep us calm, cool and collected, highly curated list, including best pants from Theory, Nap sale, Dehanche belts, best beauty and jewellery offers and more
Slightly jet lagged after my trip to New York (dedicated newsletter coming!), but with notes packed of the best discounts I’ve been made aware of/found on occasional browsing, I’m rushing to get the newsletter out this week, before the best things sell out. Black Friday is on 29th of November officially, but the number of brands are announcing discounts ahead of time and from my experience, the best pieces with offers do come and go early.
Over the years I have grown some self-control to simply walk away from the items I have a second thought about, to avoid questionable consumption just because it is 80% off on Black Friday. And by putting my years of wisdom, buying items on designer sales I’ll never wear, into a good use, I tried my best to weed out only the best deals available which I hope you’ll find useful.
Net-a-Porter sale up to 50% off, more often than not offers the best discounts on the best designer selection. Forever piece, Carven midi dress has been haunting my dreams since I saw it now at 50% off; I have lived three winters in crew neck version of this Toteme sweater, which makes me want to upgrade and wear it with a nice piece of jewellery like this Agmes pendant; scrolling through Magda Butrym dresses I’m thinking if I could pull this one off; for The Row fans they have 442 pieces on sale to be exact, I’m looking at heavily discounted Marcellita pants, down to £399 (my size is sold out, but hurry if you’re size M and up) and Ace shirt which is down to £416.
LUISAVIAROMA sale 40% off full price items with code LVR40. I found some good buys and specifically went into it with timeless instead of trendy in mind. This Jil Sander Hobo bag that can be put into daily rotation and Tove cream blazer; also it is my belief that Lanvin makes most chic ballerinas which are 20% off; The Frankie Shop midi leather skirt I’ve been wearing with everything and everywhere, is down to £365 from £600.
The Frankie Shop is running their bigger than life mid-season sale. Lots of brands own basics for less than £100, but I also spotted very good pants from Beaufille and By Malene Birger Ginny gloves.
Nour Hammour at 30% off from selected items, and it includes my Amina Python coat which I’ve been wearing endlessly, I’m size 8 (uk) and wearing their 36, could easily go up to 38 for slightly looser silhouette. I have 90’s Joni in my wishlist, also manifesting Joni in Poivre version to go on sale, but I can see why it may never get there.
Theory with 30% off almost everything; now it is the best time to buy the trousers I’ve been raving about at a very good price.
Teym is running archive sale up to 65% off; they are one of those wonder small brands that are focused on quality beyond anything and makes black t-shirts that don’t loose colour after many washes. All their t-shirts are made with minimal neckline, which is hard to find in my experience, at a very affordable price point. I’ve been rotating the long-sleeve version in my daily outfits until I forgot to pack it back from Milan (crying into a pillow). Every time I wear The Men’s shirt at least one person asks where it is from and the beige version is on sale.
Dehanche up to 30% sitewide it’s one of those opportunities to buy all the styles of a belt you want to have at once and at a very reasonable price. They are giving us discounts and majority of the wanted styles, Hollyhock and Mija, as well as Undone corset and Brancusi belt. I wore Mija in Brown Croc to elevate minimal black and brown look and have also bought Brandt to wear with my leather skirt.
Nina Gordon 30-50% off sitewide with exclusions I’m very into Dylan Double Domes right now, unfortunately these are not on sale. But Paloma Dome earrings are; also Dylan Dome necklace; also minimal Forte Hoops perfect for everyday.
Something is cooking in ANI Jewellery, I signed up for their Black Friday pre-access here. Although they have a very sweet price point for some statement pieces already, like this Pyra Necklace I wore with unbuttoned white shirt, naturally I’m curious to see their Black Friday offers.
AGMES Studio 25% Sale on selected lines; I’ve had an opportunity to visit the studio whilst in New York and their collections are not falling short from perfection. At midrange price point Agmes jewellery is something one will want to keep and wear forever. I loved meeting the Founder Morgan and learning the story behind Flora earrings which she designed for her own wedding, and about the love that goes into her designs. Now infamous Sculpted heart pendant is on sale; also Ridge and Cliff cuffs; perfect for everyday Celia Hoops.
You can now shop Demellier London bags with code BF20 for 20% less. You probably saw I can’t get enough of their New York bag in black croc, simply because I wear classic black coats to the office a lot and this bag adds some texture to elevate my look, it is £436 after discount. I have also considered Tokyo tote and New York in Grey.
Freja 25% off everything; spotted Caroline bag, minimalist dream at a very good price point, perfect for that 90s minimal look.
Sisley 20% sale - very familiar with Sisley, pretty much tried and tested their entire Rose and Anti-Ageing lines and every product lived up to their description. I made it into a habit to save and stock up for luxury beauty during promotions. Currently considering anti-ageing night eye creme; pricey but so worth it anti-ageing firming serum; and extra rich night cream I find to be the best thing ever for winter; the now infamous rose cream mask is on offer too.
SUPEREGG is running 20% Off Holiday Sale - discount applies at the checkout on single items only. However, they also have some best sets on sale, for example New Yolker set. And it doesn’t stop there, you will get a free gift $60-$200 purchase. My hero product is their hand cream, normally I don’t use any, because they leave my hands too sticky, but I’ve been applying this one daily, since New York. They also have very handy duru pouch to keep it in, and it fits a bit more than just one cream, which made my handbag less of a mess.
August & Piers is offering 30% off sitewide and free Candle snuffer with orders over £150. Any classic candle 340g is now £49 instead of £66, my personal favourite is Muse.
Hein Studio - Black Week Archive Sale -up to 70% off; They’re selling off their archive and so called “Factory Seconds”, items with little flaws. The goods are fantastic, like these candleholders and the vase.
Nordic Nest 10-70% off almost everything; This is my destination for home browsing, they carry so many Scandinavian brands. And that’s where I got my Louis Roe vases and Louis Poulsen lamp from last Black Friday.
J.Crew Black Friday 30% off for UK customers with code SHOP30 and extra 30% off from sale items. Some of great cable-knit jumpers like this one and this one; also this wrap wool trench; the long barn jacket we all can’t get enough of.
Share in comments below, the best Black Friday deal you came across this week, I want to know! And we’ll speak very soon, since I skipped last week’s newsletter I will be sharing two newsletters this week.
